"There's A Majesty In Creation..."

...nature and wildlife subjects provide the most challenging and

rewarding expressions for Brian's artistic technique.

"There's a majesty in creation and attempting to interpret that majesty is a humbling experience", he says. With his wildlife subjects, he states "I pay close attention to the eyes. It is said that the eyes are the window to the soul and that is as true in the magnificence of an animal as it is for humans. It is a constant challenge to capture the intricate texture and emotion of each subject. "Brian comes to fine art after a career in graphic design spanning over two decades. He received his BFA in graphic design and illustration in 1976 from Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, AZ.

A native of Tucson AZ, Brian knew from an early age that a career as a professional artist was in his future. However, it was the majestic setting of the San Francisco Peaks of Northern Arizona that provided the inspiration for his love of nature and it's wildlife.

Brian is now pursuing his fine art full time. He and his wife live in Running Springs, CA, a beautiful mountain community located in the San Bernardino National Forest. Brian can most often be found spending time with his family, photographing new subject matter, or working in his home studio, creating a new work or trying out new techniques for later creations.
